My LOVE for vintage clothing, jewelry, and handbags began when I won a baby contest where my mom made my crown from some of her 1960s rhinestone jewelry and my gown and cape from her clothing. Some of my most treasured memories are of my sister, Denise, and I playing dress up in my mom's Lucy dresses with the full skirts, her pointed stiletto heel shoes and "sparkling" jewelry. I suppose I still love to PLAY DRESS UP! My favorite is 60s HOLLYWOOD GLAM. What could be more exciting than wearing DIOR, CHANEL, & YVES SAINT LAURENT?

What started as a passion became a career when I opened my first vintage and antique business in January 2000 located in Austin, TX. During my five years there I met the most amazing woman, Lynn Rogers, who became my mentor and friend, graciously sharing with me her vast knowledge of fine antiques. My next venture was in Houston, TX where I continued my antique and vintage business in the Houston Heights. I specialized in vintage clothing and accessories. Thanks to my good friend Sam Vanbibber of "Wear it again Sam," I learned so much about vintage fashion. Sam, who is such a free spirit, showed me how to live my passion and take nothing for granted.

A Muse is a woman who is a source of artistic inspiration. Les Muses is a homage to the strong, artistic, and inspirational women that have been placed in my life.
